Borrowing Facility
Only enrolled Students, Researchers, Faculty, Staff and Karyakarta as registered members are permitted to use the Library and its resources.
Registered Members should produce their Identity cards for library transactions. The details of the member categories and their entitlements are given below:

Library service
Resource Sharing
Developing Library Network DELNET is promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries.
The Central Library of DSVV is a member of the Developing Library Network DELNET and shares the resources print as well as e–resources (Books, e–books, Online journals etc.) among DELNET Member Libraries.
Users may request the University Librarian to arrange the book or research papers from affiliate libraries.

Information Technology Facility
- Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
- Through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) users may access (Books, E–Books, Online Journals, Magazines) and other resources.
- Reprography Facility
- The photocopy and other facilities is available to all users on nominal paymentat Central Library.
- Photocopying facility is available as per Rules (few pages/chapter of the book/theses and other publications).
- WiFi Internet Facility
- The Central Library is linked with high speed internet connectivity. The users may use designated computer systems to access the e–resources and other related services.
- Remote Access Facility
- The Central Library offers a Remote Access Facility to help the faculty and research community of DSVV. Contact the library for remote access credentials.
- Bibliographic Service
- Customised bibliographic lists on specific subjects can be prepared for users upon request.
- User Orientation
- Orientation programs are conducted for new users to familiarise them with the library’s resources
- Reference Service
- The library staff assists users in locating and accessing the information they need
from available resources, including research Papers, books, and journals.

- Current Awareness Service (CAS)
- To keep users updated, the library provides information about newly acquired resources, journals, and other relevant materials
