About Us

  • The Department of Education was established in 2007 with undergraduate programme (Education as a subject in B.A. course).
  • B.Ed.(one year program) started in 2010 as per NCTE norms. Department of Education is dedicated for developing qualified, efficient and skilled pupil-teachers and educationalist.
  • M.A. Education started in 2010 as an academic course.
  • To promote research and innovation we started Ph.D. programs in education during 2010.
  • According to NCTE Regulations 2014, Department of Education started two year B.Ed. program from 2015.

  • We see that education as a powerful vehicle for personal and social change within the wider community locally and globally  With this thought, department of education continuously working since its inception in 2007. Our vision is to produce dynamic, efficient teacher with scientific outlook, who would be able to transform society and lead the nation for progress

Objective

  • To develop scientific outlook, strong manifestation, values and creative abilities in students.
  • To prepare good and responsible teachers.
  • To take initiative in ICT, innovation and research in teaching learning practices.
  • To provide professional and behavioral education by internship program.
